THE PLAN

How it works

Seven steps from sign-up to your first article. Most of them take a minute.

  1. Install the saidweekly plugin on your WordPress site.
  2. Start the free plan from the plugin's Settings screen, with no account, card or license key. Or choose a paid plan here and check out.
  3. On a paid plan, get your license key by email, usually within minutes, and paste it into the plugin.
  4. Tell saidweekly about your business in the plugin's Branding screen.
  5. Click Generate Editorial Calendar. saidweekly researches your business and gives you a 90-day calendar of topics, editable inside WordPress.
  6. Choose how articles arrive: as drafts for you to review, which is the default, or published automatically on their scheduled date.
  7. Receive your first article as soon as setup is complete, then the rest on your schedule.

CALENDARING

The editorial calendar

saidweekly plans topics for the next 90 days. The research behind them looks at your own website and what is already on it, the services and service area you confirmed, what competing sites cover, the questions customers ask, and the time of year. Each topic records why it was chosen and what it drew on, stored in your WordPress site alongside the topic.

The calendar rolls forward: it is extended every month, and the research behind it is refreshed every quarter. Extensions add topics; they never replace one you wrote, edited or locked. You can add topics by hand, import them from a spreadsheet, edit anything, and lock any topic so nothing changes it.

Research reads live web pages and your own site. It does not measure search positions, search volumes or keyword difficulty, and saidweekly never claims to.

THE CADENCE

Each article

On the days you choose, saidweekly writes the next topic seven days ahead of its date and delivers it into WordPress: an article of the length you set (about 300 to 3,000 words), a title, an SEO title and meta description, tags, a featured image when a suitable one is available, WordPress-ready formatting, and your call to action at the end. It is written in the voice you described and from the research already gathered, so every article does not repeat the whole analysis.

SAY IT LOUD

Reviewing and publishing

Drafts

DEFAULT

By default every article arrives as a draft and nothing is published until you press the button.

Publish automatically

If you would rather not approve each one, switch on publish automatically. It applies only to articles written after you turn it on; existing drafts stay drafts unless you include them; an article whose date has already passed is never published automatically; and an article that arrives without a suitable featured image is held for you instead. You can pause the whole thing at any time.

Editing a topic before its article is written is free. After it is written, editing the article by hand is free too; asking saidweekly to write it again uses a credit when it succeeds. If you change a topic after its article exists, that article is held until you either edit it or regenerate it, so a mismatched article never publishes on its own.

TO YOUR

Credits

A paid plan grants a year of article credits up front: one for every scheduled day in your term, worked out from your plan and the dates of the term. One credit is used each time an article is successfully delivered into your site; an article that could not be delivered costs nothing. Unused credits roll over when you renew, and expire six months after the renewal date they were granted for. If you cancel, you keep everything through the end of your year. If you ask for a refund, you receive a pro-rata refund for unused credits and the subscription ends at once.

Choose how often your website has something new to say.
